First Steps
Life for the kindergarteners at MIS is never boring and a drab existence. It is immensely fulfilling and rewarding in terms of academic as well as non-academic activities. The touch of creativity finds free flow through the intelligence of the juniors co-ordinated by the hard work and efforts given by the teachers and staff members.
Encouraging physical activity, the school has toy house and other play areas that provide a safe and secure environment for fun filled activities for students. The activity rooms are designed to make learning more fun and exciting. The concept of the activity room is about ‘Learning’, through play, in a totally different environment. All games are conducted as a part of the planned educational programme.
Primary Curriculum
The school curriculum has been designed in such a way that it emphasizes the two parallel lines of learning outcome and learning experience. Activity aimed formal education is planned in terms of framework of theory and research (DO and LEARN) process offered to the students. Social forces, knowledge of human development are the agents of school curriculum which is upgraded for the students of different grades following CBSE rules, resolutions, reform norms and conditions aiming the students to attain various educational objectives
Middle Curriculum
Middle section comprises of classes from Class-VI to Class-VIII. All these classes follow CBSE norms so far as the curriculum is concerned. But the school also provides provisions for extra subjects to ensure an all round development of every child. For students of Class-IV and Class-V, Maths, English, Odia, Hindi, EVS, Computer, Value Education and General knowledge is taught. Similarly for class-VI, VII, VIII students everything remains the same with an addition of G.K., and Geography, Civics and History being introduced under Social Studies.

Secondary Curriculum for class IX and X will be follwed by CBSE Curriculum
